Desde mi punto de vista, después del Spring-Summer 2013, el Métiers
d'Art es lo mejor que ha creado el genio de Karl Lagerfeld para Chanel.
Empecemos hablando de la puesta en escena de este desfile. Karl llevó las
calles de París a Roma. Las modelos empiezan saliendo de una boca de metro y
simplemente se pasean por la pasarela, que una vez más repito, son calles del
París romántico que aparecen en las películas francesas. Se pueden apreciar los
típicos cafés de allí, las queserías y panaderías a las que van los parisinos
cada domingo por la mañana. Cuando ya han desfilado todas las modelos, hacen el
final de desfile bajando por unas escaleras que las vuelven a llevar hacia los
espectadores para que, finalmente, aparezca Karl de la mano de su nieto a
saludar y hacer acto de presencia.
From my point of view, after the Spring-Summer 2013, the Métiers d'Art is the best thing that the genius of Karl Lagerfeld has created for Chanel. Let's start talking about the staging that made it impossible to focus on the designs. Karl took the streets of Paris to Rome. The models start coming out of a subway station and just walk down the runway, once again I repeat, are romantic streets of Paris appearing in French films. You can see the typical caffees there, dairies and bakeries where Parisians go every Sunday morning. When all the models have already paraded, they finnish the fashion show by walking down stairs which take them back to the viewers. And finally, Karl and his grandson arrive holding hands, they greet and make an appearance.
